Safeguarding Policy

This policy sets out how we create a safe environment for children, young people, and adults at risk, and what to do if you have a safeguarding concern.

Key points

  • We take child and adult safeguarding seriously and act promptly on any concerns.
  • We use safer recruitment and provide appropriate safeguarding training (where applicable) so everyone understands their responsibilities.
  • We record and share concerns with the relevant safeguarding leads and external agencies (such as social care or the police) when necessary to help keep people safe.

All staff and volunteers who work with children or adults at risk are required to hold an appropriate DBS check for their role (including Enhanced and barred list checks where applicable).
