The Founder’s Story BABY-I is a founder-led initiative for infant dignity and abandonment prevention. "From the first breath to the last, we believe in the infinite impact of a single soul. Saving one life can change the course of humankind." (Moral Consciousness Born from Lived Experience).
BABY-I IS THE BIRTH OF ETHICS
Every infant is born with a unique identity. That unique identity is the seed of dignity and we believe dignity is the foundation of ethics. The moment an infant is born, ethics is born. The moment we recognise that a life has value before it has a voice, morality begins. I founded BABY-I because I lived through experiences that showed me the consequences that arise from the absence of humanity and the absence of a just support system. I know what it means to be young and unprotected and I also know what it means to need someone to stand between you and harm. And I know- with a certainty that no argument can shake- that every infant deserves someone who will stand for them.

Fear of prosecution can push desperate parents towards unsafe choices. The gap between crisis and care is where babies are put at risk. BABY-I is the bridge. We help parents reach statutory services — police, social services, healthcare — before harm occurs. Confidentially, and without judgement.

and that must change.
