Free BABY‑I Paediatric First Aid Training (Birmingham)
Each year, we bring this life-saving event to a new location in Birmingham, because helping to protect babies and supporting families matters everywhere.
Thanks to the generous support of The National Lottery Community Fund -Awards for All, this session is fully funded and free to attend. You'll gain practical knowledge and confidence to respond calmly and effectively if a baby or child needs urgent help.
Family-friendly & accessible
- Babies are welcome- no childcare needed.
- Pram access available.
- Feeding corner and changing facilities available on site.
What you'll learn
- Practical paediatric first aid skills (hands-on, classroom-based)
- How to recognise and respond to common childhood illnesses
- How to act quickly and safely in an emergency
- An opportunity to learn more about BABY-I and our work

On-site support
- Optional free on-site childcare- a qualified childminder can care for your little one while you learn, so you can focus fully. Please note: this applies to newborns and infants under 6 months old.
- Registered nurse on site throughout the session for health and safety support.
